Let Your Body Exhale What Words Cannot
A weekend retreat September 11-13, 2026 at Mt.Madonna Retreat center for rest, awareness, and embodied healing.
Step away from the pace of daily life and reconnect with your body through mindful movement, breath, and reflection. This weekend retreat invites you to slow down, notice your body’s signals, and explore the subtle ways your body communicates experience.
Guided yoga practices, meditation, and reflective exercises emphasize awareness rather than performance. The retreat environment balances structured practice with spaciousness, allowing time for journaling, walking the grounds, or simply resting.

Meet Your Facilitator

Colette Katuala, LCSW
Founder of Body Awareness Yoga, licensed psychotherapist, and trauma-informed somatic practitioner. Colette integrates her experience in psychotherapy, and yoga to create retreats that are deeply restorative and mindful.
Her approach emphasizes listening to the body, moving at your own pace, and cultivating awareness as a path to emotional and physical well-being. Body Awareness Yoga believes that “If you can breathe, you can yoga”, providing yoga through breath work, meditation, asanas (poses), and acts of service.
Through 1:1 and small-group yoga sessions, guided meditations, and reflective practices, Colette supports participants in reconnecting with their bodies and finding spaciousness amidst the stresses of daily life.
“Let your body exhale what words cannot.”
